Is sake stronger than wine?

Sake is just a little stronger than most wines.

Sake usually has 13% to 18% alcohol volume or abv, while most wines have between 10% and 14% abv. So sake is just a little stronger than most wines, but definitely softer than your typical spirits like tequila, rum or vodka.
